Summer Fest at Ferdinand Reloaded – July 2024
Every summer, our rehearsal space Ferdinand Reloaded hosts its own Summer Fest – an afternoon of barbecues, drinks, and of course, live music. This year, we were invited to join the lineup and close out the evening as the final band.
Since there was food and plenty of music to enjoy, we arrived in the afternoon and spent time hanging out, catching the other acts, and soaking up the atmosphere. Among the bands was Simias, Elia’s second project, who had just won the Gleisdorf band contest earlier that year.
As often happens with multi-band shows, the schedule slipped, and by the time it was our turn to play, we were about 80 minutes behind. At that late hour, the crowd had thinned out, but honestly, it didn’t matter. Once we hit the stage, the fun kicked in instantly.
For us, the gig was more than just a summer night of music – it was a much-needed return to live performance after a long enforced break. And with the Sunny Days Festival right around the corner in early August, the Summer Fest turned out to be the perfect warm-up
